ROSE FREE LUXURY
1. THE BEACH HOUSE CALLED LA LEE
A great braid of arms before the greatest breakfast
Listening on a summer night to hear what quaaludes felt like
A romantic shell
Fiberglass pillars similar to Stonehenge
Swimming pool come to me
I’m proud of myself for making this banana bread
I haven’t yet seen glass as a child, unlike everything else
Instead you are very old and without discipline like a crustacean
Having your cards read like
A little star before me
A pink ass in the sun
A paradise of embarrassment
2. THE BEACH HOUSE CALLED PLENTY
Rose so loud it must be famous
Rose so you it must be me
Rose free luxury
Home shopper have
Shrimp in sunglasses
A hearty snap of the baseball bat
In my little diamond heaven
On the first nice day a neighbor wears a shirt that says
Bucketbob Hooperpants
Everyone just wants to connect
And you’re blowing your nose into your hand
At a time like this
3. THE BEACH HOUSE CALLED BEACH MUSIC
Like fate and materials are
Blessings and I mean business
Mountain Dew is a beautiful name for a drink
When I worked at Souvenir City
I stole a magnet that said
Ask me how I’ve suffered?
It’s all there in the question mark
One sliver of window granted the beach
I looked over and you were drawing
A beautiful photorealistic lamb
